Buyer's inspection for a Nissan

Hello-

A friend is looking at a used car and would appreciate some
recommendations for buyer's inspection in the Mountain View,
Santa Clara, San Jose area.

Thanks for any and all help.  The car itself is a 1998 Nissan 200sx.
Not for autox, just for day to day transport.
