This is a crazy request with no autocross content, but
I am a child of autocross, branching out into a new
world, and I'm hoping you can help a girl out.
Would anyone be interested in co-sponsoring a women's
cycling team based in Marin?
Consider this angle: we're road racers. We train on
the road. Drivers drive on the road. Think of your
company name splattered on our team jersey. We'd be
mobile advertising!
Maybe splattered isn't the best choice of words.
Anyway, I'm not our marketing person, for good reason,
but they've asked us all to put the word out. I can
send you our team proposal with all the specifics, if
you like. We are Cat 3/4 team of ten daring women who
like going fast, just like autocrosserss!
So, if you've got a small or local business, like a
car dealership, parts house, or you know of SOMEONE
trying to get their company name out, can you pass
this along? It doesn't have to be based in Marin.
