This is not a question for me but for a friend of mine
who also drives a Miata. She wants to find a decent
mechanic in Marin who works on Miatas. I know of none.
Specifically, she wants to know why the floorboards
get so stinkin' hot, even in winter. She has to drive
with the AC on all year long.
I haven't suggested leaving the top down, even though
I am her good friend. Nor have I chided her for
requiring an AC in a Miata; apparently, in this case,
it's useful. But I was wondering if any 99+ Miata
drivers have experienced this?
