Hi all,
After trying to fix a clutch related problem on my Z, I am accepting that it
may be more than I'm equipped to handle. I think there might be a mechnical
failure which is the reason I can't get the car into gear/diengage the clutch;
making it impossible for me to drive out of my garage!!
Does anyone have any leads on good, quality, gentle flatbed towing? I'm very
concerned that my car is not damaged or altered in any fashion.
Unfortunately, I need the tow from from San Pablo/Richmond (near hilltop mall)
to Milpitas/Great Mall area (my mechanic)! I know this could become a very
expensive tow, so any resources from within the community would be helpful so I
don't lose my shirt. Unfortunately I don't have a AAA membership or know
anyone who has any tows to spare.
Any referrals or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Hell, if a nice
community member who is local with a capable truck and racecar flatbed of their
own is comfortable doing this sort of thing of safely and carefully, we may be
able to work something out.
