Nice place, Duck Creek. Dixie & I found it convenient and cool for the
Shakespearean Festival also.

Southern Utah is a beautiful area.? Duck Creek Village is a particularly pretty
area with good fishing, hiking and camping.? Unless you particularly want the
high revs on I-15, a possible route would be UT 28 below Nephi to US-89, and
then south to Long Valley Junction and east on UT 14 to Duck Creek Village.?
>From Duck Creek Village, UT 14 East takes you to UT 148 that goes north to
>Cedar
Breaks National Monument.? UT 148 is not cleared in the wintertime and usually
reopens in late June/early July.? UT 148 connects to UT 143 that goes to US 89
in Panguitch?and ia a particularly scenic drive.? Much of this area is at
significant elevation, 7,000-11,000 ft, so proper tuning for altitude will make
the drive more pleasurable.? Incidentally, Bryce Canyon NP is about 20 miles
east of Panguitch.?

I JUST RETURNED FROM AN INTERESTING PLACE AND THOUGHT IT MIGHT BE A GOOD
SPOT FOR A BMCU OUTING, OVERNIGHT RUN, ITS CALLED DUCK CREEK VILLAGE ON
HIGHWAY 14 FROM CEDAR CITY UP OVER THE MOUNTAINS TO HIGHWAY 89 JUST BELOW
PANGUICH, IT PASSES RIGHT BY CEDAR BREAKS, IT WAS ALL SNOW COVERED NOW, BUT A
GENTLEMAN OUT OF MINN. IS PUTTING TOGETHER A SPOT WITH 13 SINGLE CABINS FOR
RENT, AND A SIX PLEX WITH THREE BEDROOMS EACH, THEY ALSO RENT 4 WHEELERS IN
THE SUMMER AND SNOWMOBILES IN THE WINTER, OF COURSE THIS WOULD HAVE TO BE A
SUMMER THING, BUT THOUGHT ID PASS IT ON. THERE IS GAS., GENERAL STORE AND
RESTAURANT AVAILABLEtox.team.net/mailman/listinfo/bmcu
