Hi Everyone,

=C2=A0=C2=A0=C2=A0=C2=A0 =C2=A0I have to let 2 of my 4 British cars go. Th=
e first is my 1952=20
Triumph Renown Saloon.

=C2=A0=C2=A0=C2=A0=C2=A0 Here is a youtube video I made yesterday.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3DshmEkHD8RpE&t=3D31s

=C2=A0 =C2=A0=C2=A0=C2=A0Here is the Craigslist posting:

https://losangeles.craigslist.org/ant/cto/d/tehachapi-1952-triumph-renown-t=
r3-tr4/7082477839.html

=C2=A0=C2=A0=C2=A0=C2=A0 The car is priced for a quick sale.

 =C2=A0=C2=A0=C2=A0 =C2=A0The car has 46,785 original miles.

=C2=A0=C2=A0=C2=A0=C2=A0 The brakes were rebuilt top to bottom within the =
last 1000 miles=20
or so. Sleeved master cylinder, all new wheel cylinders. It uses MG TD=20
brakes. The fuel system is untouched and never a problem. Same with the=20
cooling system.

=C2=A0=C2=A0=C2=A0=C2=A0 The current steering box has lots of play. I have=
 a rebuilt=20
steering box (uninstalled)=C2=A0 that I sourced from a parts car in the UK.=
 I=20
had it rebuilt by a pre-war steering specialist in England before he=20
retired. The TROC (Renown club) has written instructions on how to=20
change out the steering box as this is a common problem. I have a=20
printed copy of the instructions.

=C2=A0=C2=A0=C2=A0=C2=A0 The tires have about 2,000 miles on them.

=C2=A0=C2=A0=C2=A0=C2=A0 I=E2=80=99ve driven this car to work many times. =
It is about 34 miles each=20
way.

=C2=A0=C2=A0=C2=A0=C2=A0 I have new rubber treads that go on the running b=
oards.

 =C2=A0=C2=A0=C2=A0=C2=A0 All electrical works.

=C2=A0=C2=A0=C2=A0=C2=A0 I got an overdrive transmission from a car being =
broken in=20
England. It might be the last one on the planet. Renowns were the first=20
car to have a Laycock de Normanville OD.

=C2=A0=C2=A0=C2=A0=C2=A0 I have an original temperature gauge. It is unobt=
anium.

=C2=A0=C2=A0=C2=A0=C2=A0 This car has one big problem. This is reflected i=
n the price.=C2=A0 I=20
have started getting water in the oil and the block is getting=20
pressurized, blowing oil past the rear seal. It probably has a blown=20
head gasket. If I was going to keep the car, I would just go completely=20
through the engine and install the extra OD trans that comes with this=20
car. If you can do a TR3 or 4 engine, this will all look familiar. The=20
short block uses all TR3 mechanicals and the head parts & carburetor=20
parts are available from morgan-spares.com. I have a 1953 Morgan +4 and=20
the Renown has the identical engine.

 =C2=A0 =C2=A0=C2=A0=C2=A0It=E2=80=99s a good =E2=80=9Cdry=E2=80=9D car.

=C2=A0=C2=A0=C2=A0=C2=A0 If the oil leak were fixed then you could just en=
joy the car as=20
is. It was a good driver before the oil/water thing raised its head.
