There are a couple of junk yards in AZ and Minisota or Montana, or some
God forsaken place that advertise in Hemmings. You might want to give
them a call.

Also measure your tank, length, width, height. I just called a local
radiator shop. They can still get tanks for 76 and onwards. You
might want to take your tank to a local radiator shop and see if they
can find a equivilant one. If I remember correctly, there is really
nothing special back there that if you got a tank that was slightly
larger, I think it might fit. Again, check the clearence on your
current tank with it in place, and see how clearence there is around
it.

Also, on the Gremlin tank, I don't know how many different tanks there
were. But AMC liked to use the same part in as many places as they could.
However the Gremlin came with 4, 6 and 8 cyl. engines. I don't think
that they would all use the same size tank. I'd hate to have a 10 gal.
tank on a car that only gets 10 mpg. :) A Javlin/AMX tank might fit.
Also, if you (or one of our other fellows) goes to the AMC list, someone
their might be able to tell us more about the tanks that I currently know.

No problem. I just know I didn't write that particular piece!!!
