Anybody dripped their floor pans from the body?

I have the side walls off and the front and rear pans seperated. I've
finished putting a coat of resin over both sides and some cloth in
places to reinforce the pans & sidewalls where they were broken. Now
I'm ready to start putting the pieces back together.

>From what I can tell, it appears that the floor and side panels are
about 3/16" (.187) and 2/16" (.130) respectively. So my initial
thickness is around 5/16". But I don't know how much length the pop
rivets need to extend beyond the 2 layers to get a good bite.

It also looks like the original rivets were about 7/32" (.210") in dia.

What size pop rivets did you use to put the stuff back together?
Did you use steel or AL?

TIA

John
