"The Austin-Healey Club, Pacific Center, is a non-profit corp. registered
in the state of California. The club is a continent-wide assoc. of people
interested in the history. maintenance, restoration and enjoyment of
Austin-Healey cars. Chartered in 1970 as a "centre" (a branch) of the
Austin-Healey Club of Great Britain, it is today the largest single
Austin-Healey club in the world.

up to $30 and includes a subcription to the _Austin-Healey_Magazine_.

There is also a Sprite-Midget Owners Group (SMOG) that is based in San Jose.
They are separate from AHCPC, but there is a lot of overlap. Texas has a
Healey Club, but I'm not sure about its size or scope. From _Road_&_Track_:

I am a member of AHCPC (hence biased). There used to be some competition
for members and rivalry between the two clubs.
As for books, check Classic Motorbooks for what is available. As for what
is out of print that is worth while, if you can find it, Geoff Healey wrote
three books, "Austin-Healeys" about all the cars, "More Austin-Healeys"
about Sprites and "Austin-Healeys: The Specials" about one-offs, test
vehicles and engineering specials.
Geoff is Donald's son and was chief/chassis engineer for Donald's designs.
