Roger sez:

| Someone asked about the carbs on his '73 B- These should be dual SU Type HIF,
| NOT Strombergs. They do have an automatic choke, and integral float
| bowls. The work reasonably well when cared for. Some still prefer to
| fit a manual choke kit to them. The next stage is to go to a set of
| older HS4's.

I didn't see the original query. Our '73 definitely has factory fitted
dual SU's with manual choke (thank, god!) :-) The previous owner was
a stickler about authenticity (the car was an "investment") and the only
thing he changed was to fit a smaller sporty type stearing wheel (helm?)
And, of course, he had the decency to return the original one to me "in
case I wanted to return the car to mint." (I haven't)

Did Sweden really have the trucks all switch sides of the road a week
before the cars to "see how it worked?" :-)
