A very good thought, but no -- the ice cooler water couldn't have affected the wiring. It's all inside, believe it or not! Also, I'd noticed the shorts on the ammeter the day before. Ever since I installed the Lucas Sport Coil, but I think that was more coincidence than anything else. I put in a new flasher unit and it seems to have solved the problem, though I certainly don't understand why ... chris |
