| Putting a small bore head on a large bore engine is a bad idea, the valves are | really restrictive, the breathing improvement from the new head alone should | justify the cost. Most important of all: you are squishing 20% more swept volumn into the combustion chamber, therefor you will raise your compression 20%. If you have a blown head gasket(which is what it sounds like) that may have contributed. /dickn |
