Soft tops

It seems that my message was not sent to everyone on the list.  If you have
already seen the post, please disregard.

I have a 91 Lotus Elan and its soft top is fabric.  Is there any thing which
I can use to clean it?  Is it worth my while to put on a fabric water repelant,
like Sotchgaurd?
