I understand wanting to keep the car british (IE Rover 3.8 instead of Olds 3.8), but a Mazda 13B rotary would be a hell of an improvement over a Spit 1500, and probably cheaper than a GT6 conversion. But you'd probably still need to update the brakes and suspension. One of the few advantages of New England winters is we get a lot of cheap low mileage rustbuckets. Now if I can only figure out how to squeeze that front wheel drive caddy engine into my mini... |
