MG and acronyms

Just a few quickies.

MG stands for Morris Garages


and for DW, it is Alfa Romeo, not Alpha.

Alfa is the acronym for Anonima Lomabardi Fabrica Automobili and the Romeo
is Nicholas Romeo, a principal early investor....Just as Mercedes was named for 
Mercedes Jellinek, the daughter of a principal investor.  Fiat and Siata are
also both acronyms, but more details should be on the italian car group.
