The color that I have found after a lot of looking to match wheel silver
is 1977 Ford Granada Silver. Having done a LBC restoration one per year
for the last 8 years, this color seems to do a excelent job. I agree to
insist on the poly paint, It does resist chips and stones better.
**** Also use a good hard epoxy primer under the polyurethane. The combination
of a hard primer and a relatively soft color coat, is the best for not
chipping.
