I just picked up a small softcover book on the cars of 1963 and there is a
picture of the 1963 Capri in the volume.  IMHO, what an ugly car, right up
there with the Citroen Ami 6 in esthetics.  I am sure glad they redesgined
it for 1969.  I had a 73 2600 model for a while, which had MUCH nicer 
styling.
