Speaking of clutch bearings.....

        I really think that this business with graphite-ring clutch bearings is 
rather silly.  Is there any aftermarket company that supplies thrust bearings 
for this application to replace these graphite rings?  If not, has anyone ever 
tried buying a thrust bearing and rigging up for this purpose?

Just wondering.....
