to join the mailing list. Alan (the keeper of the list) has recently setup
ftp access, similar to this list & hoosier.
to ftp:
1. Start the FTP program. Do this with "ftp ftp.netcom.com".
2. You will be prompted for a login and password. The login
that you should use is "anonymous" and the password you enter
should be your e-mail address.
3. You should go to the lotus directory. Do this with
"cd pub/lotus-cars".
4. Transfer the files that you want back to your machine. Do this
with "get <filename>". If the file is a binary file, enter the
"bin" command first.
5. When you are done, enter the "quit" command.
