Charcoal canisters. There's one in my Dolomite 1850 (engine is a smaller version of the TR7). My Haynes manual doesn't mention it. I understand its there for emissions reasons, right? My questions: 1. Do I really need it? If I throw it away what happens to the hoses connected to it? 2. If I keep it how often should it be replaced? Is there any way to replace the charcoalrather than the whole canister? Thanks John Laidler john@kralizec.zeta.org.au |
