Hi,
I woule like to set a little engine problem quiz for you to solve..
Engine : Ford Kent OHV 1600 crossflow, rebuilt 600 miles ago. Norma oil presurre
is 60 psi.
on Saturday a nasty vibration came from the engine and the oil pressure dropped
off. I dipped the clutch and vib wetn away and pressure came back ok but felt
nasty vib through the clutch pedal. Lifting the clutch again and the vibration
comes back and oil pressure goes away.
A fabulous prize for the closest diagnosis. The engine is in a TVR Vixen S3
of 1970 vintage.
