Having just gotten back from a two week vacation, I haven't had the chance to
read the SOL postings. Just in case no one has announced it, the 12th ANNUAL
MIDWEST REGIONAL ALL BRITISH CAR DAY will be held on September 11-12th in St.
Louis. This annual St. Louis event is hosted by the Gateway Healey Association
and the MG Club of St. Louis. It includes a picnic, St. Louis area tour,
cocktail party, swap meet, car show, etc. Most of the festivities are at the
National Museum of Transportation (it all begins there with a picnic followed
by a tour on Saturday, Sept. 11th at noon).
These events are well attended, attracting more than 300 british cars. Entry
fee is $13 before Sept. 4 (pre-registration) and $15 the day of the show.
