It seems that 80-wt gear oil is specified for the all-synchro TR gearboxes
(TR4/250/6 & TR3B) but 30-wt engine oil is spec'd for the TR gearboxes with
non-synchro first (TR2/3/3A).  As I recall, the Haynes manual illustrates
this as a significant difference.
