But fuel injection on a TR6 has to be cool, the PI TR6 is listed as
having 50 BHP more than the Federal Emissions (carb version) model
Come on. I'll be the first to admit that PI adds incredibly to the
car's coolness quotient, but those 50 ponies (now class, how many
Japanese ponies is that?) came as much from the fact that US version
was seriously emasculated (to the tune of 8.5:1, then 7.75:1, then
finally 7.5:1 compression ratio and a cam with lobes that are only
barely non-circular).
Cool, yes. A 50 bhp difference? Hardly.
