We are going to be in London in early August and are trying to line up a
place to stay. Can any U.K. SOLs recommend some? If it's not too
expensive, we would like to try some Bed and Breakfast-type places. I
would also like to hear about any hotel that you know to be clean and
moderately priced. Thanks for any help you can give.

Last week we got Sarah's Spit on the road for the first time and she
drove it to work. I got a real kick out the kick she got! Initially,
when I was working on "my" car, Sarah was supportive but not really all
that interested in the car thing. However, when I brought home a parts
car I picked up for $150, she said it was too nice to part out and that
we should fix it up for her. So we put a new frame under it (old one
was bent), had the seats recovered, painted it Japanese Racing Green,
and gave it a tuneup. It still needs some electrical work but runs well
enough to drive around town. Sarah fondly refers to it as her "beater".
