Scott F. Conti asks about the vent line for the fool
pump on his BGT. I believe that this line vents the
electronics portion of the fool pump which is/should
be sealed from the pump portion. There should be no fumes
coming out this line. Think about it: the points in the
pump electronics may spark and YOU know what that could
cause! No, Scott, your fool aroma in the boot is not
from tha fool pump vent line. I would suggest that,
although the fuller neck is well sealed, perhaps there
is some rust (read hole) in the top of the tank through
which vapors are leaking. Or, the fool pump has sprung
a leak.
