To Bob Lang, a German pilot I know told me CAVU stood for
Cloudy All the Vay Up ;^).
Re the oil filter thread, I also bought the spin on oil filter
adapter for my TR4A. Every place I tried in my area had the
Fram PH2825. A local discount store went out of business and
I bought all they had at $1.95 ea.
Re the overheating TR6 (no name on that posting that I could see)
tried a new radiator cap? It always amazes me how important that
little $3.00 item is to a cooling systems efficiency.
Re my own TRials and TRibulations; Basil is still up on jackstands
with a AFTO 211 tied to his lower A arms. (lets see if anyone
out there knows what an AFTO 211 is)..Seems the lower A arm bushing
kit I bought was not really what I needed, it was the outer A arm
nylon bearings I should have ordered. Oh, well, you live and you
learn....
