A couple of things regarding the oil pressure. First of all, as you
hint, it may be the gauge. However, the mods you have made are
significant as well. The over bore, the more aggressive intake and the
quad minukis are all staying to me "MORE BANG and MORE GOING IN".
^^^^^^^^^^^^
So, all this is more heat. More heat = less viscosity = less pressure

Also, to paraphrase Lighthouse, "what goes in, must come out"
(too bad Bill Clinton's Dad didn't do that himself, a little sooner)

So, if you're getting all that charge in there you have to get it out
again or you won't have a happy, breathing engine. Backpressure will work
the engine and heat it up too. You'll want an easy flowing exhaust and
manifold/ header.

Also, to Autox a Spitfire you should be running an oil cooler or the #3
connecting rod will likely say "hello!" out the side of the block one day.

If you are seeing your pressure drop as the driving time builds and you're
getting better pressure at start up then this all points to heat causing
the problem.

Hope this helps!
