Hi,
While there are most likely some satisfied users of those emergency tire
inflator in a can things, I would not recommend them. The problem with
them is that they contain a gooey adhesive which is supposed to fill the
hole that causes your puncture in the first place. The problem with the
gooey adhesive is that it also goes all over the inside of the wheel (the
tube in your case). Again, in theory this is not bad, you're trying to fix
a flat. The real problem is that the gooey stuff has the capability of
settling nearly anywhere in the tire. The result is a tire that is out of
balance and is filled with gooey stuff. Even with the tube on the red
lines, you'll at the least wind up with a tube that is wrecked and a
messed up tire is also a possibility. With the price of redlines in the
$220 range, Id just say no.
IMHO I'd pass on the tire-flators.
