Yes, I did my Masters work at Western in London and it's a funny place.
Full of daughters of the british empire and Loyalists and people who
won't open the bloody Xmas presents until after the Queen does the
"Phillip and I ..." speech !

It USED to be full of LBCs as a university town which caters to the
"better class of people". However, they are all driving those Mi$%#s now
I guess.

The place is very closed up to strangers and what I found after cutting
off my pony tail and trimming my beard for a job interview is that
hidden away there are lots of LBCs that aren't driven much. Once granted
acceptance in the inner circle of London life I found out why. These
folks have money and the L is for large - read as Rolls, Bentley, XK120
and so on.

I would have expected you to see a gaggle of the newwer Jags though, they
were in abundance in London even during the bad years for Jag.

A really beautiful city though and university towns are great !

If you're going to be any closer to Toronto be sure to let me know and
I'll show you some LBCs !

Chris
