I'm posting this for former list member Chris Denzler:
1970 GT6+ 100k miles, 20k on engine and trans rebuild, overdrive,
3.27:1 differential (recent), sway + roll bars, ported head, 175 Strombergs,
header, cam, extra engine and other fiddly bits, extra door,
extra Weber manifold. And a small bunch of new parts waiting to be
installed.
I commuted in the car for the last year. It smokes a bit, has 5 spoke
aluminum rims that leak to varying degrees, the body is pretty straight
albeit butt-ugly. It's got a fair bit of bondo and primer. It had some
rust spots in the floor and sills, and the bottom of the batter tray is gone,
replaced with glass. The car will never be stock again, that is not it's
mission in life. $1500 or would consider selling some parts off separately.
