I'm really enjoying this thread.

Shortly after putting up my mosaic page (which has a bad photo of me),
I got a response from someone who said "Gee, you don't look at all what
I imagined from your posts". I was laughing about that one all day :-)

On a more serious side, I've seen some people who want to drop off the
list because of the volume of mail.  Remember that you can get this
list as a digest and I have an undigester that you can use to explode
the list (on unix systems) into individual repliable pieces of mail.  
It's available via ftp from
   vela.acs.oakland.edu 
in the directory pub/usr/amaranth as undigest
or send me mail requesting it.  I probably ought to upload that to
triumph one of these days.
