Jim, It is not a real big deal to remove the key switch. First, remove the shrouds around the steering column. Using a cold chisel, cut a small gash in the tops of the break-away screws that hold the lock to the column. Take a short, stubby, flat-blade screw driver and back the screws out. (Assembly is NOT the reverse.) The switch should then fall away from the column. YMMV. Alan |
