Gus, I just completed rebuilding my SUs for my '61 MGA MkII. The rebuild kit did not include new bushings. I only needed to replace the shafts - which I drilled myself. You might try just replacing the shafts to see if that cures any wobble or loose fit. I used the Haynes SU carb book and a three part article written by Mike Ash for MGA! as a reference. I found the rebuild very easy. Bill McCullough Plano, TX Restoring a '61 MGA Mk II |
