| Subject: | TR6 frame repair:trailing arm sections. |

Has anyone replaced trailing arm sections in the TR 6 frame? My question concerns alignment. How critical is this? Can I count on shims to correct marginal frame errors? Has anyone used an alignment shop with a jig? Was this expensive? Any special concerns? Any particular recommendations for bushes for the trailing arms? What about the springs? I am using a set color-coded red and green (old ones were green and white). Do these colors mean anything to anyone? Also: Does anyone have a hardtop for a TR 6 they wish to sell? |
