Some things just aren't worth the effort. Plus I'd have to 1) buy a melting pot, 2) buy the little stove to melt it on, 3) make/buy(?) a mold that would accept molten lead. How many lead hammers would the total cost add up to, anyway? Besides, if I can eliminate the need, so much the better.
