It has been a while, a passing of time I haven't really counted. Top down, shirt sleeves, a warm summer night here in Salt Lake, and I drive home the too few miles from the shop in a Triumph. My Mark 1 Spitfire, Racket, is running well, though I'm quite certain I need to buy a new battery tomorrow. But for the moment zipping up and down through the gears as I make my way home is all I need. I remember why it is I do what I do. mjb. |
