Fred,

  That is basically the same as the Bricklin.  We have fiberglass panels that
are attached to a steel birdcage (you might want to check out our web page
below).  In our parts xref. listing under glue we have several different
glues that people are using to glue the panels to each other and to the 
steel.  Lately, the most popular seems to be the Sikaflex products.

Corvett also does the same thing.  You can check with any local body shop
that works on vetts and see what they are using.
