Not all these scams are outside the U.S borders. A good friends' son
almost got clipped for $1700 on a DVD player he was selling. His dad
even brought the check to the local state police station and a local
bank. The bank made them wait 2 days and then said it cleared. It took
another day or 2 to realize it was fake..... In this case it was from
the southeast US.
