Again I'm not really helping, but when I "smogged" my 1971 TR6 I had to
show the inspector that I had the vacuum lines correctly. He kept looking
at the Spitfire drawing. Show them that you made a genuine effort to do it
right and hopefully they will show some compasion. Of course that was
about 20 years ago and I guess that standards a trougher these days.
Here in rural Texas we don't have smog checks...yet. I'm one county out of
the Houston are so it's only a matter of time. I wonder if they have data
for Elva Courier?
