Oil pump end float

Hi guys!

Can someone point me to an online source for the end float clearance for Buick
215 oil pump gears? Or if you just want to, blurt it out. :)

I only have about 3K miles on my engine, but the oil pump is already scored up
with swirl marks. Is that normal?

BTW, I was off this list (& the MGV8 one) for a couple of months when my hard
drive blew up. I wanted to catch up on what I missed, but I can't find an
archive to access any more. Is it gone? Did we lose all that valuable data? It
would be a shame.
