Just for fun I went to Mobil's website and right there was a cute
little interactive area where I could get a recommendation for the
"right oil for my car" (under the Car Care pull down at the top)

I was pleased that I could select a 1980 Triumph TR8 and it came back
recommending Mobil 1, 10W-30 and a PH8A filter or equivalent. Neat!
Valvoline and Pennzoil do NOT recommend a specific weight. Curious.
