Thank you for the website, Andres. I inadvertently let my
subscription lapse and needed to find "the source" again. Also, the
Mark VIII is just a gorgeous car IMO (if not as sophisticated
technically as subsequent sports/racers from Lotus) and I'm also going
to try to find the October issue.

The magazine with the Lotus Mark VIII article is "Thoroughbred & Classic
Cars," an English magazine, October 1997 issue. They have a web site: Car
World at http://www.erack.com/car.
I would get you a copy, but a photograph of Caroll Shelby at Laguna Seca
appeared in the issue, with one of the Manila Sports Car Club (MSCC) members
sitting in a 289 Cobra behind Caroll's car (he was lucky enough to get a
ride), and he has bought all the copies!
