Thanks to Erik for sending me information on the chapman-era.
I've been a subscriber to the "Seven List" for several years and have grown
weary
of all the posts about modern clones (Caterhams, Westfields, Donkervoorts) and
drive trains (Zetecs, Vauxhall).
Look forward to exchanging information about real/original Loti.
How many other Seven owners are there on this list?

I have owned LSB2097 since 1969 (second owner). The car was "Ex Works" Dec. 29,
1965 and delivered to Dutchess Autos, Millerton, NY (also know as Lotus East).
First owner was an engineer at Boeing Helicopter in Philadelphia. I drove the
car
on the street as my only transportation for two years. Then, she was prepared
for
SCCA racing and ran driver schools and "D Production" regional races 1971-73.
Then into storage for 25 years. Restoration began 1997 and is now 98% complete.
