Chuck modernized my tach for $135 some years back.  I understand the price
has gone up.  He put in electronic pulse-counting circutry and cleaned the
whole thing up.  It looks like a brand-new original tach, but it works much
better and is accuarate.  I'd rather have this than the original guts.

Won't be doing that with the TR4.  It's a mechanical tach.
