Cleaning the wiring connectors.

HellO All,

        I have had many people tell that I should clean up the wiring connectors
while the engie is out.  I can see that there is green corriosion on the 
connector tabs.  How exactly do I do this?? What will take off this corriosion
and make them look shiny and new again??  Then I fill the connectors with 
dielectric grease??
