Hello,

If there is a puddle underneath the gas pedal then I dont think it is the 
clutch master slave unit.  You are probably looking at the Brake Master 
Cylinder.  Unless you are talking underneath the car and under the gas pedal 
then yes it probably is the Clutch Master Slave unit.

It really isn't a very difficult procedure to replace.  Just make sure that 
you have the car secured on top of jack stands and the wheels chocked forward 
and rear.  You may also need a spray can of a bolt loosener as it tends to 
lock up on the threads after 30 years.
