Hello All,

I am putting the electrical back into my 67.5 pushrod 2 liter. I have one
solid black wire that goes to the new fuse block and I am unsure of where
it goes. I have the wiring diagram for the 2000/1600 67.5 but this spare
solid black wire does not show up or if it does I am blinded from looking
at the fine print on the wiring diagram. Can anyone give me a clue? It
comes out of the stock wiring harness so it is not someones add on. I had
all the wires marked but when I cleaned up the wiring harness this one lost
its tag. I hate it when that happens. All the others are good to go except
for this one wire. I would hate to hook it up to the wrong terminal and fry
something.

On another note, there was a thread a while ago looking for alternatives
for the rubber cowl vent hose. They are either deteriorated or darn hard to
find. I found an alternative and it works
great. I bought some 1-1/4" corrugated sump pump hose from Orchard Supply a
local hardware store. It fits through the rubber grommet in the firewall
very tightly and the corrugations provide just enough bend to shape the fit
to very close to the original. I did not want to simply plug up the hole to
let it drain down the inner sides of the fenders. It is not OEM but it
definitely works, looks good, and should last quite a while under the hood.
I had to buy a 20 foot length and only used around 2-1/2 feet. If anyone
wants to try it, send me an address and I will ship it to you for the cost
of postage.
