Also remove:  the emergency brake cable; metal brake line from the rear
brakes to the bias unit on the firewall, and steering column (can't
remember what else. 

Lift a little bit to see if there are any other connections you forgot
to remove before giving it the final yank and hip, hip horray! 

If the body is very rusted leave the doors on and try to bolt
strenghtening rods across the door openings to keep the body from
bending.

Pam and Paul,
 There are a few things to disconnect before the body is removed.
If the gas tank is out you may not have to remove the line to the frame
but
check it first.  You also have to remove the fuel line at the front as
well
before it goes to the filter.  Mine is a 67 so had that metal fuel
filter with
glass bowl.

There are 3 brake lines, two front and one read unless you want to
"break"
them.  The clutch line.  The rear wiring harness along drivers side
outer frame
rail and along the rear of the car.  Several ground straps.  14 body
bolts.
