Late last week, another roadster saw it's last days. SPL311-12201 had been
suffering the last ten years, having been wrecked, stripped of most parts, and
then left at the local salvage yard where a tree had fallen on it, making it
almost unrecognizable. Attempts were made to bring it back to the light but
failed as it broke into several pieces when attempting to move it.. It was
finally shredded late last week. But not before it yielded one last gasp!
Parts are now on there way to Virginia, Florida and Ohio where they will
hopefully extend the lives of others. Thanks to Jim, Sid, and Jim for finding
homes for the parts. And a special thanks to Ralph, for not letting good old
#12201 go unnoticed in it's final days!
